Currently our Venues are Cash ONLY on the door. Pay as you go and just turn up. No partner needed.
Please make sure you sign the form on your first class and provide a valid email address as we do have breaks and do social party nights and events and these dates and info will be emailed to you.

Hythe Venue extra Parking Info:

FREE parking right outsie the venue + and over flow car park BUT please be aware of the narrow canal road and check times of classes and class cross overs as the road is only one car wide so we would advise not to arrive just as people are leaving.

Alternative FREE parking in Hythe after 6pm. The Paddocks, 13 Prospect Road, Folkestone and Hythe CT21 5NN / Mount Street, 4 Mount Street, Folkestone and Hythe CT21 5NT - Walk over Ladies Walk Bridge straight to the Cricket club from The Paddocks or walk over the other bridge opposite Mount Street Car Park and down the side of the canal for 2 mins. Alternatively you can use some of the surrounding roads.

Directions for Hythe Cricket Club
For those travelling coast bound on the M20 take junction 11 and turn right. Follow the A20 to Newingreen and then left onto the A261. Continue on the A261 until you reach the A259 in Hythe. Keep going past Sainsbury’s until you reach the Red Lion Pub on the Right. Approximately 150m after the pub take a right onto Stade Street, go over the small bridge and then turn immediately left onto the tow path/road that runs along the Royal Military Canal. The turning into the Club car park is on the right, just past the bridge.

If you’re not sure which class to go in, just ask an instructor when you arrive and they’ll point you in the right direction. Remember it is not a race! Enjoy the process! Quality over quantity always!

The funkiest warm ups and cool downs for Salsa. Implementing a fusion of various dance styles and techniques into Salsa. These get the blood pumping and are lots of fun!

What is Freestyle Dancing?

After the class, this is the time to practice what you have learnt and is a great way to get used to the music and the steps. It is when everyone and anyone can dance the night away. All instructors are more than keen to dance with you. Join in the FUN! Dancing with lots of people in 'Freestyle' (also known as social dancing) to complete the perfect night out.

What are the Workshops or Bonus Classes?

These are for people with a little knowledge of dancing and the salsa social styles already.

Sample other exciting dance styles from the salsa scene in our workshops/bonus classes, including Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton, Rueda De Casino, Son, Afro Cubano, Kizomba, Cha Cha Cha and more...

We will be bringing you workshops where you get to learn more detail or other dance styles and techniques to complement your Cuban Salsa and freestyle abilities. All dedicated blocks of time, so you get a good enough understanding and solid base with the fundamentals and build on these with more complex and fun sequences as the workshops progeress. You will be able to take away what you have learnt and use each style with ease along side your salsa on the social dance floor.

Have you considered some Private Lessons?
Want to improve on something specific or just move on a little? We teach a multitude of salsa based specialities and other socail dance styles sucha Bachata and can taylor classes to your needs. For example Partner Work | Leading &Following | Styling | Footwork | Musicality | Turning and Spinning | Body Movement to name a few! Choreography for a special event or occasion too. FAQ:

Do I need a partner?NO certainly not! Our Salsa nights are popular evenings and there’s always plenty of people that come on their own to dance with.
Do I need previous experience?NO Not at all! We welcome all levels and cater for all abilities. The class is broken down in to different level.
What levels do you teach? We teach all levels - BEGINNERS fundamentals / BEGINNERS / IMPROVERS / INTERMEDIATE and above. We also teach private lessons at all levels, if you want to improve your skills or gain some confidence.
What do I wear? Comfortable clothes, whether you want to dress up or come casual it does not matter, some ladies prefer heels (please use heel guards with stilletto heels where possible at any club, to protect and preserve the dance floors) and others flat shoes or pumps. Please try to wear shoes with relatively low grip, as you need to be able to turn and twist safely in directional changes whilst doing the moves and footwork you will learn without getting stuck to the floor.
What ages can attend? 16yrs+
Is there FREE parking? Yes - There is plenty of FREE parking at our Salsa Class locations right outsie the venues.
Do you do any discounts? Yes - Get your your loyalty card or member card stamped at any of our venues or for the Hythe Venue - Loyalty Discounts still apply on and offline but cannot be mixed and matched. Every 10th class booked online is FREE (1 class discount amount currently £8.00).This is automatically applied when you book your 10th Class online.(A small online booking fee will apply ). Please note: If you book online you will NOT get a stamp on your loyalty card when you arrive at The Venue, your online booking counts as 1 stamp and would have registered in place of a physical stamp. You must pay for either 10 Classes in cash at the door - physical stamps OR 10 online classes. Online and physical stamps cannot be mixed and matched for your free class

Please note that you can bring your own water to our venues but any alcohol brought onto the premises will be confiscated. Water is also available to purchase and at some of our venues there is a bar. We thank you in advance for your co-operation.
