DANCE VISIONS IS NEW FOR 2009
Run by Beki Saunders, who has been dancing since she was 5 years old and has a long list of dancing achievements behind her.
Beki is a qualified Dance Teacher, Exercise to Music Teacher and Zumba Instructor and holds all relevant insurances and licenses.
Beki always rises to a challenge and has successfully taught many couples, individuals and groups to dance, even those who claim to have no rhythm and/or two or even three left feet!!!!
Beki has also had many successes in teaching couples dances for their Wedding days, using many different requested dance styles. She has a keen interest in choreography and sees no limits or boundaries for separate styles of dance and therefore enjoys using the fusion of different styles in her choreography for shows, workshops and events. Her achievements also include choreographing and taking part in many shows, demonstrations, performances and musicals, large and small, including ones such as Greese and Little Shop of Horrors, Birmingham Arts Fest, 'Create' week in Ashford, Kent and many others.
Beki started her teaching career at the age of 17, and taught children aged 3 to 16 Tap, Modern and Jazz, she then went on to teach adult classes of Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Street Dance for a number of years as a freelancer.
As a graphic designer too, Beki ended up taking some time out to run a graphics agency in Maidstone as their Creative Director, which is when she ventured out after work and first discovered the salsa scene.
Dance Visions is her new venture launched in January 2009 and she now runs that along side her own graphics company Jargon Creative, designing anything from websites, exhibition stands and signage, to flyers, brochures, posters, newsletters and business cards with her talented team of coders, technical support and designers.
Dance Visions aims to build on and offer a multitude of adult dance classes and workshops over the coming years and an exciting list of varied exercise to music classes and new dance crazes.
We will be collaborating with many different companies to open new avenues and break boundaries and we will be using different dance styles with the very best teachers available. We hope to see many appearances from World Class Teachers in our workshops, at our party nights and all dayers, offering a richer experience for everyone involved.
